Vehicle Barrier Certification Tests

Having a vehicle barrier certified to a standard increases buyer confidence, and in some markets, it’s a requirement. In addition, the penetration rating provides end users with the ability to select an appropriate barrier based on the application. While testing sounds complex and expensive, it’s not; the biggest cost is to build the vehicle barrier itself.

At Calspan, we understand the anxiety manufacturers have about a process that is often foreign to them. Our approach is to partner with our customers, taking the time upfront to explain our process and address any concerns. Whether it relates to logistics, installation, test time-frame or site remediation, Calspan can provide as much or as little assistance as necessary to make the whole process efficient and stress-free.

Calspan offers ASTM F2656/F2656M – 15, ASTM F3016/F3016M, PAS 68:2013, and IWA 14-1:2013 barrier certification testing. After each test, we provide a formal test report, high-speed videos and certification letter.
